Job Summary:ย 

The Head of Acquisition & Lifecycle Marketing, RIA & Software at Envestnet is responsible for driving demand, adoption, expansion, and retention across our Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and software businesses through scalable lifecycle programs. This role will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance customer acquisition and lifecycle management, ensuring sustainable growth and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial technology industry, particularly within the RIA and software sectors, and will leverage this expertise to create targeted marketing initiatives that align with Envestnet's business objectives and values. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing programs, as well as the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead paid media and demand generation strategy: Develop and implement a robust paid media and demand generation strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion. This includes managing budgets, optimizing campaigns, and leveraging various channels such as digital advertising, social media, and content marketing.
  • Own prospect engagement, nurture, and lifecycle programs: Design and execute end-to-end prospect engagement and nurture programs that guide potential customers through the marketing funnel.
  • Oversee the Product Marketing team for MoneyGuide and Tamarac developing ย segment-specific strategies. Lead product marketers in creating and implementing segment-specific marketing strategies that align with product offerings and target audience needs.
  • Oversee onboarding, adoption, upsell, and renewal marketing: Manage the development and execution of marketing programs that support customer onboarding, product adoption, upsell opportunities, and renewal processes.
  • Optimize conversion and lifetime value using data-driven insights: Utilize data and analytics to continuously monitor and optimize marketing strategies. Identify key metrics and performance indicators to measure success and make data-driven decisions to improve conversion rates and customer lifetime value.
  • Build and manage a high-performing lifecycle marketing team: Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of lifecycle marketing professionals.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors: Partner with external agencies and vendors to enhance marketing initiatives and extend the reach of lifecycle marketing programs.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs: Establish and maintain a robust reporting framework to track the performance of acquisition and lifecycle marketing programs.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. ย 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:ย 

  • 12+ years of experience in acquisition or lifecycle marketing.
  • Expertise in paid media, demand generation, and lifecycle frameworks.
  • Experience supporting SaaS or advisory business models.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Salary:

The annual base salary range for this position is $192,000 to $240,000.
