Summary of the Role
Channel marketing is a strategic driver of the marketing organization, helping to align client needs and business priorities to the development and delivery of marketing plans, activities, and resources. This role will focus on the Calamos' RIA business.
The Channel Marketing Manager RIA is responsible for building, executing and implementing channel marketing strategies and providing managerial leadership to the department. The Channel Marketing Manager RIA will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across key RIA partners and relationships to drive engagement, education, and adoption of the firm's investment solutions. This role partners closely with RIA distribution, product, and compliance teams to deliver impactful marketing programs for RIAs clients. This position will report to Paula McGrath, SVP Head of Channel Marketing.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive marketing plan, and key strategies and tactics for the RIA channels - setting and tracking KPIs
  • Directs and helps build and enhance the RIA channel marketing function, serving as channel/ audience expert.
  • Partners with distribution, portfolio specialists, and national accounts teams to provide and leverage effective business development tools and resources.
  • Drives the development of customized marketing content, resources and communications for RIA audience.
  • Serves as primary liaison between distribution teams and product/marketing teams.
  • As part of the Channel Marketing team, helps develop overall short and long-term marketing strategies that align with company goals.
  • Other related duties as assigned by senior management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Finance or Communications.
  • 5+ years of channel or cross-channel marketing leadership experience in financial services and/or asset management
  • Deep understanding of RIA channels and audience, plus alternative asset management and related distribution channels
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing strategy, planning and execution across marketing media.
  • Experience with industry and proprietary events planning and execution, particularly those related to RIAs audiences.
  • Experience with digital campaigns and strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Competent understanding of financial services, asset management, product, client management and sales processes
  • Data and digital-first minded, value and utilize both quantitative and qualitative information to make decisions and prioritize
  • Proven ability to partner, collaborate and work within a team
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation for this role takes into account various factors, including work location, individual skill set, relevant experience, and other business needs. The estimated base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 annually. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
Please note that this is the current estimate of the base salary range intended for this role at the time of posting. The base salary range may be adjusted in the future.
