Director, Adhesion Investment Platform Management Job Description

Adhesion Wealth is a leading provider of outsourced investment management solutions for registered investment advisors (RIAs). Adhesion Wealth empowers advisors with the ability to build their own multi-manager (UMA) strategies, access SMA strategies and use other turnkey investment solutions on the Adhesion Wealth Manager Exchange. Position Summary

The Director of Adhesion Investment Platform Management is responsible for scaling the operating foundation of Adhesion's model marketplace. This role leads the design and execution of standardized processes, operating procedures, and governance frameworks that support the full lifecycle of asset manager and investment solution onboarding, ongoing servicing, and platform management.

The Director will focus on creating a bestinclass marketplace experience for advisors, asset managers, and internal stakeholders by streamlining workflows, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring consistent, scalable execution across all investment products and programs. A core mandate of this role is to reduce complexity, enable growth, and ensure the platform can scale efficiently while maintaining a highquality client experience.

This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership across AssetMark and Adhesion to identify and execute the highestpriority product management and platform initiatives that support the firms' longterm growth objectives. The Director will also directly lead and develop a small team of product managers, setting clear priorities, establishing execution discipline, and ensuring the team delivers against strategic and operational goals.

Job Responsibilities

Platform & Operating Model Leadership

  • Build and enhance scalable operational frameworks for Adhesion's model marketplace, encompassing product and asset manager onboarding, lifecycle management, and governance to drive consistency, efficiency, and growth.
  • Drive business case development with supporting analytics, competitive research, market opportunity sizing, and conducting financial modeling and assessments of other key quantitative or qualitative attributes for operating enhancements development.

Investment Product & Manager Lifecycle Management

  • Lead endtoend onboarding strategy and execution for asset managers, investment solutions, and new programs, ensuring a streamlined, predictable, and wellgoverned experience for both internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategic initiatives with advisor needs and investment product objectives, ensuring successful execution.

Strategic Collaboration & Execution

  • Collaborate with senior leadership across AssetMark and Adhesion to define, prioritize, and execute the highestimpact product management and platform initiatives that support longterm growth objectives.
  • Represent Adhesion's investment products and programs to sales teams, internal stakeholders, and third-party managers by providing thought leadership and driving alignment to achieve asset adoption and improve client experience.

People Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop a team of product managers, providing clear direction and handson support to drive effective execution against platform and department goals.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

  • Requires 10+ years of experience in financial services; must have product development experience in asset management and/or investment platform, with a proven track record of driving commercial outcomes through new products and partnerships.

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $160,000-$180,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location.

This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
