Job description

We are looking for a Director of People Operations to lead and scale our global benefits, payroll, and compensation functions. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, someone who can build scalable, employee-centered programs while managing a team and partnering closely with senior leadership. Reporting to the VP, People Operations, you will own the infrastructure that keeps our people programs running seamlessly across a growing global organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for global benefits strategy and management, payroll processing, and compensation program management
  • Own the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of competitive global benefits programs that attract and retain top talent
  • Lead payroll vendor strategy and processing decisions, ensuring the organization has the right partners, processes, and infrastructure to support a growing global workforce
  • Drive the annual compensation planning process, including salary benchmarking, merit cycles, incentive programs, and equity administration
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and evolve the organization's compensation philosophy, ensuring it is competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on compensation, benefits, payroll, and broader People Operations strategy
  • Oversee global job leveling, career architecture frameworks, and compensation structures to ensure consistency and equity across all regions
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and external vendors to ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations across all markets
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement to drive efficiency, scalability, and an exceptional employee experience
  • Build and present reporting, analytics, and insights on People Operations metrics to inform leadership decision-making
  • Champion a best-in-class employee experience through thoughtful program design, communication, and operational excellence
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on simplifying processes, increasing operational efficiency, and enhancing employee satisfaction
  • Partner cross-functionally with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and senior leadership on broader people strategy initiatives as needed
  • Evaluate and optimize People Operations systems, workflows, and processes to support organizational growth and scalability

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of experience in People Operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a team
  • Exposure to building and successfully executing payroll, benefits and compensation strategies and processes
  • Proven ability to track, prioritize and drive to success on multiple concurrent projects with a strong operational background
  • Hands-on, solutions-oriented leader with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge of HR platforms like Workday and ADP
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and change management capabilities
  • Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and analytics
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally and advise senior leaders
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
