Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a People Operations Coach (SVP or C-suite) based in Netherlands.

This is a part-time, fully remote coaching opportunity designed for senior HR leaders who want to turn decades of people leadership experience into meaningful one-to-one coaching impact.
You will partner with professionals across Europe to help them become stronger leaders, communicate more effectively, navigate workplace challenges, and build fulfilling careers.
The role combines executive-level HR expertise with structured coaching methodology, supported by dedicated training, tools, and a global coaching community.
You will work directly with members through virtual sessions while providing thoughtful support between sessions through digital communication.
All coaches receive ICF-certified training, giving experienced HR leaders the opportunity to deepen their coaching capabilities regardless of prior certification.
You will have the flexibility to contribute alongside other professional commitments while committing to a long-term coaching relationship with the community.
This is an opportunity to use your leadership experience in a purpose-driven environment focused on helping people thrive at work and beyond.

Accountabilities
  • Provide high-quality one-to-one coaching to members through virtual sessions using dedicated coaching platforms and tools.
  • Help members establish clear professional and personal goals, define actionable steps, track progress, and maintain accountability.
  • Support leaders in strengthening their leadership capabilities, communication skills, decision-making, problem-solving, and workplace relationships.
  • Create a safe, empathetic, respectful, and confidential environment where members feel comfortable exploring challenges and being vulnerable.
  • Communicate with members between sessions through dedicated email and in-app chat when appropriate, helping maintain continuity and momentum.
  • Participate in required and ongoing coach training to develop coaching skills and apply the established coaching methodology consistently.
  • Engage actively with the coaching community by sharing relevant tools, insights, experiences, and practices that can strengthen collective coaching quality.
  • Contribute to a collaborative coaching culture centered on learning, growth, inclusion, empathy, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as an ambassador for the coaching community, consistently demonstrating kindness, professionalism, respect, and emotional intelligence.
  • Commit to a sustained coaching relationship with members and maintain a minimum availability of 12+ hours per month over at least 24 months.
  • Bring practical insights from senior HR and people leadership experience to coaching conversations while maintaining an appropriate coaching mindset and boundaries.
  • Participate in the ICF-certified coach training program before beginning coaching engagements and successfully complete the required training.
Requirements:
  • 20+ years of professional experience in human resources, including substantial experience managing HR teams and coaching or developing individuals.
  • Current or previous experience at VP, SVP, C-suite, or equivalent senior HR leadership level.
  • Experience working within technology companies, technology-adjacent businesses, high-growth organizations, or start-up environments.
  • Strong track record of developing people, supporting leaders, navigating organizational challenges, and helping professionals grow their careers.
  • Formal coaching certification is a plus but not required, as all selected coaches participate in the required ICF-certified coaching training program.
  • Genuine interest in developing professional coaching skills and applying a structured coaching methodology to one-to-one conversations.
  • High self-awareness and emotional intelligence, with the ability to listen deeply and create a psychologically safe environment.
  • Strong empathy, interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and judgment.
  • Growth mindset and enthusiasm for continuous learning, feedback, and development.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, constantly changing, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to dedicate at least 3-5 hours per week, or a minimum of 12+ hours per month, to coaching responsibilities.
  • Commitment to remaining active for a minimum of 24 months to support meaningful long-term relationships with members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment and collaborate virtually with a distributed coaching community.
  • Passion for helping professionals build fulfilling careers, become better leaders, and improve their experience both at work and beyond.
Benefits:
  • Part-time contract opportunity designed to complement other professional commitments.
  • Fully remote position open to experienced senior HR leaders across Europe.
  • Compensation paid on an hourly basis.
  • Additional bonus opportunities tied to engagement with the membership and community growth.
  • ICF-certified coach training provided to all selected coaches, regardless of previous coaching certification.
  • Opportunity to earn Continuing Coach Education Units upon successful completion of the certified training program.
  • Access to proprietary coaching tools, resources, and methodology designed to strengthen coaching effectiveness.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities to continuously improve coaching capabilities.
  • Membership in a collaborative coaching community where experienced leaders can exchange insights, tools, and best practices.
  • Opportunity to build meaningful one-to-one relationships and directly support professionals in their leadership and career development.
  • Flexible part-time structure suitable for senior leaders seeking to expand their coaching practice and impact.
  • Long-term opportunity to contribute for at least 24 months and develop deeper coaching expertise over time.
  • Inclusive, community-oriented environment that values diversity of experience, perspectives, and backgrounds.
  • Coaching opportunities are offered on a rolling basis according to member demand, with selected candidates either invited to upcoming training or placed on the coach shortlist until demand is available.
