Cascade Medical, in beautiful downtown Leavenworth in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, is looking for a full-time Director of HIM and Revenue Integrity.
Job Summary: The Director of Health Information Management (HIM) & Revenue Integrity is responsible for the overall management and integrity of patient health records, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA. The Director oversees the daily operations of HIM services, including medical record processing, coding, transcription, release of information, and privacy practices. This role is critical to supporting accurate documentation, billing compliance, and quality reporting within a rural healthcare environment utilizing the Meditech system. This position is also responsible for overseeing the hospital's revenue integrity functions to ensure accurate charge capture, billing compliance, and optimal reimbursement. This role ensures the alignment between patient access, clinical documentation, coding, billing, and reimbursement processes, while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. The Director leads a multidisciplinary team and works closely with clinical, financial, and compliance departments to identify and resolve revenue leakage and integrity issues.
