NHC HealthCare Mauldin is seeking a professional and detail-oriented HIM Assistant to join our post-acute healthcare team in Greenville, SC.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of Health Information/Medical Records experience preferred
  • CCS, CCA, or CPC-A certification preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of EHR systems, ICD-10-CM, medical terminology, scanning, and filing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Review and maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Scan and QA documents in the EHR system
  • Ensure admission and discharge documentation is complete
  • Assist physicians and staff with record updates
  • Maintain filing systems and support audits/reports
