Sr. Digital Merchandising Specialist
Work Mode: Onsite
Location:Onsite - Kohler, WI
Opportunity
Under the direction of the Senior Digital Merchandising Manager, the Senior Digital Merchandising Specialist supports the end-to-end onsite customer journey and overall site experience. This role is responsible for driving business objectives and enhancing the online customer experience through data driven insights, compelling merchandising tactics, and continuous optimization efforts. The role may support assigned categories, programs, or site initiatives and will contribute to activities including merchandising execution, performance reporting, customer insights, testing, and promotional activation.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Site & Category Merchant: Serve as the primary digital merchandiser for assigned product categories. Execute website merchandising activities to deliver ecommerce sales plan and support category objectives, including product launches, content updates and campaign activation while observing the boundaries of our brand standards. Regularly monitor inventory levels on new product and top sales drivers within assigned product categories. Additional merchandising support for company initiatives as needed.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze eCommerce sales performance and site metrics at the sitewide, category and brand campaign or promotion level to identify opportunities for growth, conversion and optimization. Regularly provide KPIs, insights and trends to cross-functional channel and category partners.
  • Site Experience Continuous Improvement: Identify customer needs and business opportunities within the channel, focusing on continuous improvement of the website, translating problems into clear business requirements. Develop strategy and communicate action plans for carrying out business objectives for categories and overall site metric goals. Collaborate closely with the Analytics team to monitor site health, track performance, and uncover merchandising opportunities when customer drop-off or friction is identified.
  • Voice of Consumer: Regularly review Voice of Customer feedback creating incident reports for bugs and sharing with appropriate teams. Analyze feedback to identify emerging trends and proactively share insights with cross-functional partners to influence site enhancement prioritization. Prepare and deliver regular reporting on NPS and CSAT scores, highlighting key drivers and opportunities for improvement.
  • A/B Testing & Site Experience Needs: Support the development and execution of A/B testing across the site in partnership with the Testing Digital Product Owner. Partner with UX, Marketing, Merchandising and Analytics teams to build test briefs, prioritize, define KPIs and summarize insights to inform future enhancements. Manage the activity launch of short-term merchandising and promotional needs via the Adobe Target platform.
  • Product Recommendations: Guide the product recommendation strategy to enhance onsite personalization and support business KPIs. Define recommendation use cases, placement criteria, and success metrics to ensure relevance and performance. Collaborate cross-functionally to execute data-driven recommendations onsite, partnering closely with Analytics to monitor performance, analyze results, and continuously optimize algorithms and rules.

Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or degree with equivalent experience in eCommerce merchandising or digital marketing
  • 2-4+ years of experience in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, or related product marketing roles
  • Experience working with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Power BI), e-commerce platforms (Commerce Tools), PIM systems (inRiver) and testing/optimization platforms (Adobe Target) are a plus
  • Experience in Financial Forecasting/Planning
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Customer first mindset with the ability to translate customer problems into digital experiences
  • Proven ability to build relationships, establish trust, and execute decisions effectively
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
