Job Description Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Digital Merchandising Specialist, a W2 contract opportunity. Digital Merchandising Specialist 6-month W-2 Contract with chance of extending long term Bolingbrook, IL -Hybrid 6x per month W2 hourly up to $22 per hour Position Summary The Digital Merchandising Specialist is responsible for assisting the Digital Merchandising team in the delivery of supporting and executing the online merchandising strategy. This role will assist the team to merchandise the site to create an experience that is easy to shop and is relevant.

They will assist to ensure categories are positioned competitively online to meet sales, margin, conversion and customer satisfaction goals. This position will partner with many cross-functional partners, including merchandising, digital product, creative design, and development teams. The position will report to the Sr.

Manager of Digital Merchandising. Job Responsibilities: Partner with the Digital Merchandising Event Lead to support the planning, build, execution, and maintenance of digital event experiences, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. Execute event page builds within the Content Management System (CMS), including page setup, content placement, product merchandising, linking, and other event-related components.

Build and maintain curated featured landing pages and event destinations based on established merchandising strategies and business priorities. Coordinate with cross-functional partners throughout the event process to gather required inputs, communicate updates, track deliverables, and support timely execution. Execute comprehensive page proofing and quality assurance throughout creative, merchandising, and pricing reviews, validating content, products, promotional messaging, pricing, imagery, links, and overall page accuracy.

Identify and communicate content gaps, discrepancies, and executional issues, partnering with the Event Lead and appropriate cross-functional teams to facilitate timely resolution. Support event launches and post-launch validation, reviewing live experiences for accuracy and quickly escalating or addressing issues that may impact the customer experience. Maintain established Digital Merchandising standards, processes, documentation, and timelines to deliver consistent and accurate execution across events.

Manage multiple concurrent event deliverables and deadlines, maintaining a high level of organization, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through in a fast-paced digital environment. Minimum requirements: 1-2 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills.

Excellent organizational skills with a strong eye for detail. Effective cross-functional collaboration skills. Outstanding communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize projects and multitask to get things done. Proactive and eager to constantly seek out opportunities to make an impact. Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.

Efficient in a Content Management System (CMS), Microsoft Office, and Microsoft SharePoint, a plus. "Beware of scams. S3 never asks for money during its onboarding process."
