Job Summary

Great food deserves great storytelling. We're looking for a Marketing & Merchandising Manager who knows how to make a corporate dining cafe feel like a destination, a seasonal promotion feel like an event, and a menu board feel like an invitation.

Restaurant Associates is home to elevated corporate cafes, dynamic food halls, curated retail dining, and best-in-class catering operations - and we're looking for a creative, operationally sharp marketer to help bring it all to life for a busy national portfolio (NYC based). If you're guest experience obsessed, live for a well-executed seasonal campaign, and can go from brainstorming a concept to building the plan without breaking a sweat, keep reading.

What You'll Do

You'll be the connective tissue between our local dining operations teams and corporate marketing - translating strategy into execution and turning consumer insights into campaigns & activations that truly impact the business. Day in the life? Depends on the day.. developing seasonal promotions, building merchandising programs, designing collateral, and managing a monthly marketing calendar in close collaboration with culinary, operations, and client teams.

You'll create and oversee digital and printed menus, signage, kiosk and mobile app visuals, and marketing templates that reflect our premium brand standards. You'll develop merchandising guidelines and planograms for food, beverage, and retail spaces with equal attention to aesthetics and function. You'll manage vendor communications and the ordering process for merchandising elements, smallwares, uniforms, and signage fixtures. And you'll track, analyze, and report on what's working - sharing insights with operations, corporate marketing, and clients to keep strategies sharp and results-driven.

Beyond the day-to-day, you'll contribute to annual business planning, support new account openings and transitions, lead monthly marketing meetings with key stakeholders, and stay ahead of emerging trends in hospitality, retail, design, and consumer behavior to keep our regional strategies fresh and competitive.

What You Bring

You have 2-5 years of experience in marketing or merchandising within hospitality, food & beverage, or retail, and you've built a track record of creative execution backed by operational discipline. Your design sensibility is strong, your writing is clean and compelling, and you know how to manage multiple priorities without letting anything slip through the cracks. You're equally comfortable presenting to a client and rolling up your sleeves to get a cafe set up for a seasonal launch.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular) is essential, and a Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is preferred - though equivalent professional experience is absolutely welcomed.

Why Restaurant Associates

Restaurant Associates is known for exceptional culinary experiences, premium service, and hospitality that sets the standard - and your work will be front and center in shaping how our diners experience that every single day. If you're ready to bring creativity, energy, and operational excellence to a team that truly values all three, we'd love to meet you.
