Pay Range: $47.75hr - $52.75hr
- The role involves managing retail merchandising initiatives with a focus on contact lens category strategy, promotions, assortment planning, and cross-functional coordination across operations, marketing, vendors, and finance to support retail store performance and business growth.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Bachelorโs degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in retail planning, buying, or merchandising.
- Strong experience managing category initiatives and retail merchandising strategies.
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and merchandising/planning systems.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed organizational environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Experience:
- Experience in retail merchandising, planning, or buying roles.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in retail operations and marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to stores on category initiatives including contact lenses and promotions.
- Manage large-scale contact lens initiatives to improve assortment and selling practices.
- Coordinate new product introductions and go-to-market activities with focus on private label implementation.
- Support contact lens training programs and educational content development.
- Collaborate with operations, field teams, vendors, marketing, and other stakeholders on category initiatives.
- Manage marketing co-op funds in partnership with marketing and finance teams.
- Visit stores, new store openings, and cross-functional offices as required.
- Ensure execution of merchandising strategies across retail locations.
Should Have:
- Strong Excel expertise (advanced user).
- Basic finance knowledge.
- Power BI experience.
- Ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Experience working in highly matrixed organizations.
