Job Summary
The Development Operations Assistant supports the Development Officer and development team with donor communications, administrative coordination, gift acknowledgments, event support, campaign tracking, and routine donor database updates. This role is cross-trained to provide basic CRM coverage during staff absences or high-volume fundraising periods while the Data Specialist remains the primary owner of database structure, reporting standards, data integrity systems, and CRM administration.

Job Description
Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate donor stewardship activities, including gift acknowledgements, recognition, and appreciation initiatives.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising campaigns and special projects.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Foundation leadership and Development Officers.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take meeting notes, and track follow-up action items.
  • Assist with planning and logistics for Foundation events, donor meetings, and volunteer activities.
  • Prepare donor communications, mailings, presentations, and other development materials.
  • Collaborate with the Data Specialist to support donor database accuracy, reporting requests, and campaign tracking.
  • Maintain project timelines and ensure deadlines are met across multiple fundraising initiatives.
  • Coordinate board and committee meeting logistics, materials, and documentation.
  • Assist with budget tracking, purchasing, invoice processing, and other departmental administrative functions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal departments, donors, volunteers, and community partners, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and operational efficiency within the Foundation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of donor information and adhere to Foundation policies and ethical fundraising standards.
  • Support Development Officers with portfolio management activities, stewardship follow-up, and special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and strategic goals of the Monument Health Foundation.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements
Required:
Education - High School Diploma/GED Equivalent in General Studies
Preferred:
Experience - 1+ years of Clerical Experience; 1+ years of Computer Skills-MS Office Applications
Education - Bachelors degree in Related Field
Physical Requirements:
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
