Job description

Wichita Tribal Enterprises, a subsidiary of Quivera Enterprises, LLC, is seeking Desktop Technicians (Levels III, IV, and V) to support the Department of the Interior / Indian Affairs (DOI/IA) enterprise user environment.

These roles provide end-user computing support across enterprise IT environments, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and network infrastructure. Technicians are responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support of hardware and software systems, as well as supporting standard and specialized applications.

Progression across levels reflects increasing responsibility in technical complexity, leadership, project execution, and enterprise impact.


NIST SP 800-53 Compliance Requirement

All personnel must operate within the NIST SP 800-53 framework developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements, including the Federal Information Security Modernization Act.


Desktop Technician IIIOverview

The Desktop Technician III provides advanced Tier II/III technical support and operates independently with minimal supervision, resolving moderately complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier II/III support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and devices

Physical Demands – IT / Office Role

This position is primarily office-based and requires prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and working on a computer. Occasional walking, standing, bending, and reaching may be required.
