The Design Operations Manager is responsible for operationalizing and delivering the visual brand strategy crafted by the U.S. Category Design Manager. This role report into Category Design Manager, the role ensures that brand assets are accurately adapted, flawlessly executed, and efficiently deployed across all omnichannel consumer touchpoints. Unlike creative or strategic design roles, this position focuses on production excellence, workflow management, artwork quality, and execution readiness. Turning design intent into market-ready output at scale.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Executional Excellence
  • Lead the end-to-end execution process for packaging, digital, retail, and promotional assets.
  • Translate approved design concepts and brand systems into final, deployable deliverables.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines and technical specifications across channels.

Adaptation & Localization
  • Adapt global and U.S. level creative assets into local-market executions with accuracy and fidelity.
  • Apply, update, and maintain brand guidelines, toolkits, and template systems.

Artwork, Production & Pre-Press Management
  • Oversee artwork routing, annotation, regulatory requirements, version control, color management, and pre-press.
  • Manage production partners, packaging studios, CAST, and execution agencies to ensure zero-defect delivery.

Workflow, Process & Quality Management
  • Build and optimize workflows, timelines, and cross-functional approval processes.
  • Identify execution efficiencies and implement scalable asset systems.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control across all asset outputs.

Cross-Functional Execution Partner
  • Work closely with Shopper Marketing, Brand Activation, Digital, Sales, and eCommerce teams to deploy final assets.
  • Ensure channel requirements, timing, and technical specifications are met across the activation calendar.

Agency & Vendor Governance
  • Manage execution vendors and agencies focused on adaptation, artwork, and production ,not creative ideation.
  • Oversee SOWs, delivery timelines, budgets, and production accuracy.

Leadership Expectations
  • Lead through operational discipline, precision, and detail orientation.
  • Foster strong collaboration with internal teams and external studio partners.
  • Champion a culture of executional excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the organization's guardian of quality, ensuring assets meet brand standards and market requirements.

*The position is based in Warren, NJ, and follows a hybrid model, requiring an in-office presence of 3 days per week.

  • Experience managing agencies and production vendors.
  • Proficient in artwork evaluation, file setup, color accuracy, and versioning.
  • Strong collaboration, communication and, stakeholder management abilities.
  • Extreme attention to detail and quality assurance.

The salary range for this role is $ 104,283 - 143,389 USD + bonus
