Job Description
Sandisk is looking for an Senior Design Operations Manager to help drive operational excellence across the Consumer Design organization, including the Packaging Design, Industrial Design, and Visual Identity teams. This role will work closely with the Director of Design, leadership team, and functional teams to coordinate design meetings, track action items, identify process improvements, and support budget & resource planning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate design reviews and other meetings, including scheduling and meeting notes.
  • Publish feedback, decisions, and action items from meetings and track action items as needed.
  • Track all design decisions for both Packaging and Industrial Design. Communicate updates to functional teams as needed.
  • Engage with Legal on trademark assessments for both Packaging and Industrial Design.
  • Collaborate with Assets team to ensure handoffs of CMF, models, and other deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to improve process and workflow across design teams.
  • Support tracking and planning for Consumer Design organization budgets.
  • Collaborate with team leads to address resource needs, including contractors.
  • Support onboarding of new vendors as well as initiation and tracking of purchase orders.

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
  • 6-8+ years of experience in design operations, program management, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of design process, including deliverables and workflows.

SKILLS:
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities in cross-functional, matrix environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing multiple concurrent projects using tools such as Jira or Smartsheet.
  • Solid understanding of budget tracking and vendor/supplier expense management.
  • Track record of identifying, implementing, and scaling process improvements across teams.

This range may be modified in the future.
  • You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Sandisk's Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
