Job description

Who you are: 

Supergoop! is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wholesale Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end execution of wholesale order fulfillment with a particular focus on our largest retail partners - Target and Ulta Beauty. You will serve as the operational backbone for these accounts, managing everything from warehouse scheduling and order flow to partner communication and process improvement. You will report directly to the VP, Operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operations point of contact for Supergoop's Target and Ulta Beauty account managers, managing order execution, compliance requirements, and retailer-specific workflows.
  • Partner with the Sales and Finance-owned demand planning teams to translate forecasts into actionable fulfillment plans.
  • Translate demand signals into warehouse scheduling, ensuring capacity is allocated appropriately across retail account windows and promotional events.
  • Oversee the full wholesale fulfillment cycle, from order receipt and prioritization through pick, pack, and shipment.
  • Review wholesale orders against available inventory and provide timely, accurate guidance on fulfillment timelines and any adjustments needed.
  • Coordinate with 3PL and warehouse partners on inbound scheduling, outbound prioritization, and labor planning to meet retailer compliance windows.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with wholesale partners on order status, shipment details, and any exceptions.
  • Monitor and flag inventory risk - stockouts, shorts, aged inventory - and partner with Purchasing and Inventory Control on resolution.
  • Identify and drive process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across the wholesale fulfillment operation.
  • Use data and operational tools - including AI-powered platforms such as Claude, Parabola, and others - to automate workflows, analyze fulfillment performance, and surface insights that 

Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in wholesale operations, retail fulfillment, or a distribution environment
  • Direct experience managing major retail accounts such as Target, Ulta Beauty, Sephora, or similar - familiarity with their compliance and routing requirements strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and order management systems
  • Comfortable working with EDI, WMS, and ERP platforms (NetSuite experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology to improve operational workflows; experience with AI tools such as Claude, Parabola, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to act quickly on data
  • Strong communicator - able to manage retailer relationships, internal cross-functional partners, and 3PL contacts simultaneously
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities.
