Work Location: Remote


Summary:

The Wholesale Mortgage Account Manager is responsible for helping sign-up and train new broker partners, servicing existing brokers, and liaising between brokers and operations. Standards are high in this role, as our aim is to provide an outstanding broker/customer experience.  


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of mortgage product and guideline knowledge to effectively communicate with brokers and their team. This may include answering loan scenario questions.
  • Work closely with the internal wholesale operations team, including underwriting and closing, to ensure broker questions are answered in a timely manner. 
  • Provide training on systems, policies procedures, products, guidelines, updates, etc.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing wholesale accounts to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends to anticipate and proactively meet customer needs.
  • Wear a variety of hats to help where needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the mortgage industry.
  • Former mortgage underwriters or closers preferred. No sales experience necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a wide variety of tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with conventional and FHA guidelines.
  • High comfort level with technology and web-based tools.
  • Inclination for action.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.
