Job description

The Wholesale Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of wholesale orders and operational processes across Geometry's growing portfolio of national retail accounts, specialty retailers, and marketplace partners.

This role serves as the operational expert on customer requirements, order management systems, EDI workflows, retailer compliance, and fulfillment coordination. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and our third-party logistics partners, this individual ensures orders move accurately and efficiently from purchase order through delivery.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, systems-oriented, proactive, and enjoys solving operational challenges in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities: Wholesale Order Management
  • Own the end-to-end operational lifecycle of wholesale purchase orders within our key accounts
  • Manage order flow from EDI receipt fulfillment, invoicing, and final delivery.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each customer's operational requirements, including retailers’s portals, packaging and labeling standards, ticketing requirements, routing instructions, and other account-specific fulfillment specifications.
  • Monitor all incoming orders within assigned accounts for accuracy, pricing, and routing requirements.
  • Resolve order exceptions before they impact customer delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and our logistics partners to ensure on-time shipment and delivery.
Systems & Process Management
  • Own the day-to-day optimization of our order management systems.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer operational data.
  • Identify automation opportunities within our systems that reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
  • Develop, maintain and communicate standard operating procedures with our logistics partners to ensure consistent and accurate order execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day operational liaison between Geometry, our logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of wholesale orders.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance to support key wholesale accounts and resolve operational challenges.
  • Support the operational onboarding of new wholesale accounts by coordinating system setup, customer requirements, fulfillment workflows, and internal readiness.
Required Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in wholesale operations, order management, customer operations, supply chain.
  • Experience managing operational requirements for wholesale, retail or national account customers.
  • Hands-on experience with OMS and EDI platforms (Shopify, SPS Commerce, Mirakl, or similar technologies).
  • Experience coordinating with third-party logistics providers and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
