Location: Remote – Must be located in the Atlanta, GA area or willing to relocate immediately

Position Overview

UniVirtual Solutions, Inc., a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP/MSSP), is seeking a Business Development Lead responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities for our managed IT and cybersecurity services.

This role focuses on prospecting, outreach, qualification, and meeting generation for the sales team. The Business Development Lead plays a critical role in creating a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities.

This is not a closing role. The position is responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities so the sales team can focus on discovery, proposals, and closing new clients.

Location Requirement

This is a remote position, however candidates must:

• Be located in the Atlanta, Georgia area, or
• Be willing to relocate to Atlanta immediately

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Outreach

  • Identify and research qualified business prospects

  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn

  • Follow up with inbound leads and marketing-generated inquiries

  • Maintain consistent outreach activity

Lead Qualification

  • Conduct initial discovery conversations

  • Determine business fit, needs, and decision-maker access

  • Disqualify poor-fit prospects

  • Schedule qualified meetings for the sales team

Sales Coordination

  • Prepare prospect summaries and discovery notes

  • Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline tracking

  • Support the progression of qualified opportunities

Pipeline Management

  • Track activity metrics and pipeline generation

  • Maintain CRM data hygiene

  • Provide weekly reporting on outreach and pipeline development

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in B2B business development, SDR, or inside sales

Compensation

Base Salary:
$55,000 – $65,000 depending on experience

Typical OTE:
