Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive to drive the growth of our Managed IT and Cybersecurity Services through direct sales execution. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for building and managing a sales pipeline within an assigned territory, leveraging a consultative approach to identify, qualify, and close opportunities. This is a bag-carrying role with direct quota responsibility, requiring the ability to engage technical resources to scope solutions, negotiate contracts, and close business.
The Business Development Executive will carry a defined annual quota with a primary focus on Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), a secondary focus on Professional Services, and a tertiary focus on Procurement sales. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in MSP amp; MSSP sales and excels in driving full sales cycles from prospecting to closing services opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Pipeline Development – Develop a strong sales pipeline and deliver consistent top-line revenue growth for AnatomyIT.
  • Opportunity Management – Prospect, qualify, and close new customer opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Self-Generated Pipeline Development – Proactively create new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, targeted account development, referrals, networking, social selling, industry events, and other self-generated business development activities. Maintain consistent prospecting activity and build sufficient pipeline to achieve assigned revenue targets.
  • Lead Development amp; Conversion – Promptly engage, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities generated through marketing campaigns, channel partners, client referrals, strategic relationships, and other company-sponsored demand generation activities. Maintain disciplined follow-up and ownership of leads from initial engagement through qualification and close.
  • Consultative Selling – Leverage a consultative selling approach to promote managed IT services, security tools, and compliance offerings.
  • Solution Scoping – Engage Solutions Architects and technical experts to scope opportunities and design client solutions.
  • Contract Negotiation – Negotiate contracts within company guidelines and drive opportunities to close.
  • Quota Achievement – Meet and exceed assigned annual quota, with a primary focus on Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), a secondary focus on Professional Services, and a tertiary focus on Procurement-based sales.
  • Executive Relationships – Develop and maintain executive-level client relationships, particularly with C-level stakeholders.
  • Pipeline Accuracy – Accurately manage pipeline stages, close dates, and forecasts within Salesforce CRM.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Collaborate with marketing, client services, and product management to support proposals and RFP responses.
  • Market Awareness – Maintain awareness of industry trends, compliance standards, and competitive landscape to support client discussions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of sales experience in healthcare IT, managed services, or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success generating net-new pipeline through self-directed outbound prospecting, not solely through inbound or company-generated leads.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and networks within healthcare markets, associations, industry groups, and executive communities.
  • Proven ability to develop new territories, identify target accounts, and build relationships within named accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and engage C-level healthcare executives through phone, email, social outreach, referrals, industry events, and in-person networking.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for healthcare conferences, association meetings, client meetings, and industry networking events as required.
  • Proven track record of quota attainment in complex sales environments.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Experience in contract negotiations and closing enterprise-level deals.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and sales enablement platforms.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to operate independently with a high degree of accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MSP amp; MSSP Sales Experience
  • Experience selling into acute care, extended care amp; ambulatory care settings or large healthcare organizations.
  • Proven success in exceeding annual sales goals at an MSP/MSSP.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance-driven IT solutions, and IT Infrastructure fundamentals.
