Business Development Partner - Cybersecurity & Risk Advisory (Hybrid/Remote) Job Summary

Join a rapidly growing consulting and advisory firm helping enterprise and mid-market organizations reduce business risk through cybersecurity, AI governance, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), enterprise risk management, compliance, and digital transformation services.

This is a pure business development (hunter) role responsible for generating new business, building executive relationships, and closing complex consulting engagements. Once a client engagement is signed, implementation transitions to the Client Delivery team, allowing you to focus on developing new opportunities and driving revenue growth.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of B2B business development or consultative sales experience
  • 5+ years selling cybersecurity, AI, governance, compliance, risk advisory, or technology consulting services
  • Proven success achieving $5M-$10M+ annual revenue goals
  • Experience closing complex multi-six and seven-figure consulting engagements
  • Strong executive presence with experience selling to C-suite leaders
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Enterprise software or professional services
  • Existing executive network within enterprise organizations
  • Working knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 1/SOC 2, GDPR, CIS Controls, OWASP, or CMMC
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar certifications are a plus
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Develop new enterprise and mid-market business opportunities across a national territory
  • Build relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CISOs, CFOs, Chief Risk Officers, Compliance leaders, and Boards of Directors
  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, executive relationships, and strategic prospecting
  • Lead consultative sales engagements from initial outreach through contract execution
  • Partner with consulting leaders to develop customized client solutions
  • Deliver executive presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and sales forecast
  • Represent the firm at executive networking events and industry conferences
  • Transition signed engagements to the Client Delivery team for implementation
Work Environment
  • Dallas-Fort Worth candidates preferred (hybrid 2-3 days per week)
  • Remote candidates considered if located near a major airport and willing to travel
  • Up to 50% travel required
  • Candidates must sign a client NDA prior to the first interview
