Job Description
The Manager of Business Development is responsible for on-site team leadership of the inside sales team. This position requires someone to be very hands-on that will apply mastered sales coaching to reps and drive metrics-based discipline. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in managing people, process, and technology to drive best-in-class performance.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
  • Manage Business Development organization to goals, objectives and quota achievement
  • Manage a diverse mix of territory and vertical based sales development positions with responsibilities of inbound and outbound prospecting
  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and coach BDRs
  • Monitor and refine sales lead processes and metrics
  • Manage territory assignment
  • Ensure the effective use of Salesforce.com
  • Compile weekly/monthly team reports, modify as needed
  • Proactively work to improve the cadence and throughput of the assigned sales development resources
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a positive working relationship and maximize the impact and effectiveness of sales development
  • Work with marketing to ensure efficient prospect/customer information exchange and hand-off
  • Remove roadblocks to BDR success

MUST HAVE SKILLS
  • Basic Knowledge in sales/prospecting
  • Bachelor's Degree
