ROLE PURPOSE:ย 

The Creative Operations Project Manager at Thermacell is accountable for enabling the company's go-to-market engine by ensuring creative work across packaging, POS, campaigns, and commercial assets moves from request to execution with clarity, rigor, and discipline.


This role owns the end-to-end workflow and execution framework for creative work in a highly regulated, seasonal, consumer products environment. They serve as the central point of coordination for creative intake, prioritization, timelines, and resourcing, ensuring work is aligned to Thermacell's commercial roadmap, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.


Acting as the operational connective tissue between Marketing, Sales, Operations, Regulatory, and external partners, the Creative Operations Manager reduces ambiguity around ownership, prevents rework, and ensures creative deliverables are delivered on time, in alignment with established brand standards, and ready for production and retail execution. This role brings an evolution of centralized structure where work has historically been fragmented across teams. This position plays a critical role in scaling Thermacell's creative output without sacrificing accuracy, speed, or quality.


STATUS: Exempt

WORKING HOURS: Typically, between 8 am - 5pm Monday -Friday (open to some flexibility)

WORK LOCATION: Corporate Office - 32 Crosby Dr Bedford MA 01730; 3 Days a week (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in office minimum with expectation that if business needs arise, attendance on other days may also be required.ย

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:ย 

  • Manage and continuously improve the lifecycle of creative projects from intake through final delivery, serving as the single source of truth for timelines, status, and execution.
  • Intake, Prioritization & Capacity Planning: Manage creative demand by standardizing intake, prioritizing work against business needs, and aligning resources to timelines and capacity.
  • Resource & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate internal creative resources and external agencies to ensure balanced workloads, clear expectations, and on-time delivery.
  • Project Management & Scheduling: Define and manage project plans, milestones, review stages, and approvals for campaigns, packaging, POS, and commercial assets.
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the primary Marketing liaison between Creative, Sales, Operations, Regulatory, and leadership to reduce friction, resolve conflicts, and drive clarity.
  • Budget Tracking & Performance Metrics: Track project costs and invoices and report on operational metrics such as volume, velocity, and efficiency.
  • Tools & Systems Ownership: Own and optimize creative workflow and asset management tools (e.g., Monday, Asana, Workfront, Canto, Lytho).
  • Own and continuously improve the lifecycle of creative projects from intake through final delivery, serving as the single source of truth for timelines, status, and execution.
  • Ensure final deliverables align with established brand standards, quality requirements, and regulatory approvals prior to release or production.
  • Vendor & Contract Coordination: Support vendor onboarding and coordinate SOWs and project documentation in partnership with Finance and Legal.

COMPENSATION

Compensation for this position will include a competitive base salary ($86,900 - $115,800) and an Annual Target Bonus opportunity. Details provided separately.ย

Paid time off for this position will consist of accrued vacation at a competitive level, along with 11 Holidays and a day off for your Birthday! 40 hours of wellness time is also available on your first day of employment. Additionally, a company shutdown period is offered for one week between Christmas and New Year's Day where the majority of business operations pause, and employees are encouraged to rest and recover together. Critical functions may require limited coverage to ensure business continuity.
