What is a corporate secretary?

A corporate secretary helps ensure large offices run efficiently by providing clerical support services. As a corporate secretary, your job duties include answering incoming phone calls, welcoming and leading visitors to the proper location, responding to correspondence, and maintaining file management systems. To thrive as a Corporate Secretary, you need a thorough understanding of corporate law, governance principles, and strong organizational skills, typically supported by a degree in law, business, or a related field.
