Job description

Summary:

The incumbent will oversee and coordinate all repairs, replacements and modifications of processing, packaging and facility equipment with optimal quality and efficiency.

Job Function Statements Essential Functions:

  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Compliance to SOP's, GMPs, Housekeeping, Safety, and all other FE policies.
  • Provide support to Process Improvement (PI) projects and participate on safety teams.
  • Coordinate all maintenance activities.
  • Maintain Preventive Maintenance program.
  • Properly communicate with Production and Maintenance Departments.
  • Keep good records of KPI and Goals.
  • Keep track of Work Orders and re-route them properly.
  • Work closely with Inventory stock operation.
  • Maintain Data for equipment.
  • Lead Improvement projects.
  • Manage PM cycle and update if necessary.
  • Plan and coordinate parts availability for planned WO's with Inventory stock room.
  • Monitor the entire maintenance process and improve as needed.
  • Assist other sides and share best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Good electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance program.
  • Required computer skills: EAM, D7i, Access, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with Inventory stock room operation.

Other Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Related Bachelor's degree or Maintenance Skills Associates degree.
  • Ability to use multi-meter and other measurement instruments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PLC controls, such as Allen-Bradley and GE Fanuc.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficient fabrication and welding skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic system.
  • Bilingual skills - English/Spanish and/or English/Polish.

Experience:

  • Required 5-10 years' experience in Maintenance field

Education/Training:

  • Minimum of a High School diploma/GED, some Technical School coursework, or Mechanical Certification (must have at least one of these items to be considered).
