About the Role:

The Senior Maintenance Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of maintenance operations within the organization. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimizing maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize asset availability. The role requires close collaboration with maintenance teams, operations, and engineering to plan preventive and corrective maintenance activities effectively. The Senior Maintenance Planner will analyze maintenance data and trends to improve planning processes and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this position ensures that maintenance resources are utilized efficiently to support operational goals and maintain safety and compliance standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering (mechanical), Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance planning or a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and scheduling software.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and asset management principles.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Work Schedule & Environment

Working a 28 days on 14 days off, up to 12 hours a day or more at a remote campsite. Extreme conditions, including but not limited to extreme and changing weather conditions, dust, mud, varying levels of noise, varying degrees of light and dark, in and around artificial light and in a confined work area.

Employees are required to stay on site at the company provided camp during the work rotation. Camp facilities provide dining service, games room, exercise & weight room, sauna, and accommodation rooms. Dormitory rooms have a land line phone, internet & cable tv programs. Cell service is available when using Wi-Fi. The Company provides a bus service to and from Fairbanks, Delta Junction and Tok, Alaska.
