Job description

Allied Reliability is seeking a Contract Maintenance Planner responsible for developing detailed job plans, work packages, and scheduling support that enable safe, efficient execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities across an Oil & Gas Lubricants and Packing facility.
Key Responsibilities

Develop quality job plans for preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and project-related work, including drawings, procedures, materials lists, and tool/equipment requirements

Build and maintain work packages that enable efficient execution by maintenance technicians and contractors

Procure maintenance materials and services, including initiating requisitions, tracking purchase orders, and confirming goods receipts

Manage planner queue based on work order priority; coordinate with Maintenance Team Leads, Schedulers, and Operations Maintenance Coordinators

Analyze job execution against plan, comparing labor and material actuals to estimates and documenting lessons learned

Conduct spare parts and inventory analysis, including setup, description changes, and obsolescence notifications to engineering

Support planned plant outages and turnaround planning activities

Ensure all work scope plans account for HSSE requirements and environmental considerations

Utilize CMMS (SAP preferred) to manage work orders, planning data, and reporting

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance planning or maintenance execution in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Proficiency in CMMS platforms; SAP PM experience strongly preferred

Ability to read and interpret mechanical, P&ID, and electrical drawings

Working knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices for industrial equipment

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced plant environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook)

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Preferred

Experience in lubricants, chemical, or high-speed packaging environments

Background in reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) or planning best practices

Familiarity with turnaround planning and outage coordination
