Maintenance Planner

Location: Gulfport, MS
Schedule: Full-Time | MondayFriday

The Opportunity

Were seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to support maintenance operations at a manufacturing facility that performs government contract work. This position is ideal for someone who understands maintenance operations and has hands-on experience using maintenance planning and CMMS software such as Corrigo.

The Maintenance Planner will work closely with maintenance technicians, supervisors, operations, purchasing, and vendors to ensure work orders are properly planned, scheduled, documented, and completed efficiently.

What Youll Do

Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities

Create, review, and manage maintenance work orders

Develop detailed job plans including labor, materials, tools, equipment, and outside services

Use maintenance planning software and CMMS platforms to schedule and track work

Maintain accurate work order information, equipment records, and maintenance history

Coordinate with maintenance leadership to establish priorities and schedules

Research equipment history, manuals, drawings, and technical documentation

Estimate labor hours and resources required for maintenance activities

Coordinate parts and material availability with purchasing and vendors

Track planned versus completed maintenance activities

Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs

Coordinate contractors and outside service providers when needed

Identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability

Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures within a government-contract manufacturing environment

3+ years of maintenance planning, scheduling, or coordination experience

Hands-on experience with maintenance planning software or CMMS platforms such as Corrigo
