Agilent continues to invest in capacity and expansion of its Colorado operations.Join a growing team with this exciting new opportunity for a Maintenance Planner in our Engineering and Maintenance group at our GMP facility in Frederick, Colorado. Work in our dynamic, fast-paced, API-Biopharma manufacturing environment with the ability to contribute to the growing industry of oligonucleotide (DNA-RNA) based therapeutics.

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance Planner for Frederick Facility process maintenance and calibration team, with an emphasis on Spare Parts Management and Parts/Job Planning.

  • Blue Mountain RAM (Regulatory Asset Manager) CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) activity administrator for Frederick Facilities.

  • Responsible for management of spare parts including inventory management, procurement orders, receipt inspections, and spare parts stocking.

  • Acts as planner / scheduler responsible for coordination of troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and calibration activities related to GMP equipment and devices used in the manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API).

  • Actively manages service contracts and 3rd party execution of maintenance activities for process equipment skids.

  • Responsible for changes related to electronic forms, work routines, schedules, asset management, spare parts inventory, and user account management.

  • Responsible for Change Controls, Non-Conformances, CAPAs, and SOPs related to CMMS system and acts as subject matter expert / representative for CMMS system in both client and agency audits.

Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and or experience.

  • 4+ years of equivalent experience in planning / coordination of equipment maintenance and calibration activities in a manufacturing environment.

  • 4+ years of equivalent experience acting as planner / coordinator within a GMP production facility in a pharmaceutical and/or biologics area.

  • 4+ years of equivalent experience acting as owner / administrator for a CMMS system (RAM, SAP, Maximo, or similar).

Desired:

  • Familiarity with maintenance and repairs of chemical and pharmaceutical fluid handling and thermal control equipment (pumps, agitators, automated valves, piping systems, and temperature control module skids).

  • Familiarity with calibration activities associated with industrial instrumentation and process control equipment (flow meters, industrial floor scales / vessel load cells, pressure and temperature transmitters).

  • Demonstrated communication skills, including verbal and written communication, in contact with vendors, internal customers, and employees.

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Knowledge of OSHA, PSM, Class I Div I/II electrically classified areas, lock-out tag-out, confined space, hot work permits, and standard EHS related work practice requirements.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and progressive environment.

  • Exceptional people skills, technical knowledge and influential leadership ability.
