Job Description Drive operational excellence and measurable business results through the leadership and execution of continuous improvement initiatives across a manufacturing operation. As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, eliminate process losses, and implement sustainable improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies. This role plays a key part in building a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and continuous learning while supporting long-term operational performance. Partner with operations and functional leaders to identify improvement opportunities and drive measurable performance gains. Lead structured problem-solving initiatives utilizing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), DMAIC, Loss Analysis, Kaizen events, and other continuous improvement tools. Facilitate Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to support data-driven decision making and sustainable process improvements. Manage site improvement projects, including project planning, execution, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication. Coach and mentor leaders and team members on continuous improvement principles, tools, and best practices. Develop and deliver training programs focused on Lean, Six Sigma, operational excellence, and process improvement methodologies. Support and enhance Manufacturing Operating Systems (MOS), including KPI development, performance tracking, tiered meetings, and standard work processes. Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and focused improvement initiatives that address operational challenges and improve overall performance. Establish communication plans that promote engagement and awareness of continuous improvement activities throughout the organization. Serve as a subject matter expert for continuous improvement methodologies, daily management systems, and operational performance tools. Monitor project performance, communicate results, and provide recommendations for sustaining improvements. Collaborate with stakeholders to review progress, identify opportunities, and drive continuous advancement in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and operational metrics. Support organizational change initiatives and foster a culture focused on continuous improvement. Perform additional responsibilities as needed. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Mathematics, Finance, Food Science, Animal Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, manufacturing, engineering, or related operational leadership roles. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis, TPM, TQM, SPC, and related improvement methodologies. Advanced project management experience with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and driving measurable operational improvements. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to influence and collaborate with employees at all organizational levels, from plant floor personnel to senior leadership. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Willingness to travel occasionally in support of operational improvement initiatives. Ability to support improvement activities across multiple shifts as needed.
