Job Description

We are seeking an Educational Content Production Associate, Copy to help create, maintain, and scale instructional content across our educational experiences. This role is responsible for developing clear, user-friendly written content that supports learning, project completion, and product adoption.

The ideal candidate is a strong instructional writer who can translate complex processes into simple, easy-to-follow guidance. You will work closely with content creators, video producers, and cross-functional partners to develop written instructions, educational resources, and video scripts that deliver a consistent and effective learning experience.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and maintain instructional content across educational platforms and learning experiences.
  • Develop detailed, step-by-step project instructions that help users successfully complete projects and activities.
  • Create and refine scripts for educational videos, including voiceover (VO) narration and supporting content.
  • Collaborate closely with video production, design, product, and education teams to ensure alignment between written and visual content.
  • Review and update existing content to improve clarity, accuracy, consistency, and user experience.
  • Establish and maintain consistent tone, terminology, formatting, and instructional standards across all educational materials.
  • Manage high volumes of content updates while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and user insights to continuously improve educational content.
  • Support content versioning, localization preparation, and ongoing content maintenance efforts.
  • Utilize collaboration and project management tools to organize content development workflows and documentation.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in instructional writing, content development, UX writing, technical writing, educational content creation, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to write clear, concise, and user-friendly instructional content.
  • Experience developing step-by-step guides, tutorials, learning materials, or educational resources.
  • Familiarity with scripting content for video, voiceover, or multimedia learning experiences.
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and processes for diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Miro, Figma, Airtable, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working within content management systems, collaborative workflows, or content production environments is a plus.
  • Experience supporting educational, instructional, DIY, maker, or consumer-product content is preferred.
