Position Summary
The Developer, Content Development will lead strategic design, development, and execution of high-quality TNG, ATIXA and NABITA curricula. The Developer will work closely with The Managing Director of Content and subject matter experts to create engaging, effective, and scalable training content tailored to the higher education and K-12 markets. The Developer will help ensure that materials meet the organization’s educational goals, maintain regulatory compliance, and reflect industry best practices. Additionally, this role will manage cross-functional projects, and drive the expansion of TNG’s training into new platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with SMEs & Teams: Collaboration with subject matter experts, consultants, and cross-functional teams to research and develop culturally responsive curricula related to Title IX, Title VI, civil rights, Behavioral Intervention Teams (BITs), Case Management, and other topics, as needed.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and edit assigned elements of the creation of TNG’s training curriculum, ensuring the production of high-quality scripts and materials for higher education and K-12 practitioners, with a focus on subject matter expertise, innovation and scalability.
- Content Quality & Standards: Maintain quality standards for all educational materials, ensuring consistency, relevance, and alignment with TNG’s educational and regulatory frameworks. This includes ensuring all training materials are accessible.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Plan and lead meetings with internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders, providing clear direction and oversight for content development processes.
- Data-Driven Content Evolution: Gather, analyze, and synthesize feedback from SMEs, Advisory Boards, training evaluations, and market surveys to inform the continuous improvement of training materials.
- Maintenance & Optimization: Help ensure the ongoing management and maintenance of existing training (including in-person, virtual, online, and eTraining) and curricular materials, ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and accessible.
- Research & Compliance: Conduct and oversee research projects to ensure all content is legally compliant, up to date with regulatory requirements, and reflective of best practices in the field.

Requirements:
Required Education, Skills, & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in education, instructional design, or a related field, with substantial involvement in Title IX, Title VI, civil rights policies and grievance processes, student conduct, BIT/CARE teams, or case management within higher education or K-12.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Technical Writing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven leadership and strategic planning experience in content development, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality educational programs.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and curriculum design skills, with the ability to distill complex legal and educational concepts into clear, accessible materials.
- Experience managing large-scale content initiatives and leading content development.
- Project management skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while delivering within deadlines.
- Skilled at navigating diverse perspectives to achieve project goals.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, editing, and a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity and/or experience with ADA accessibility standards for digital and print content.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and independent judgment skills, with the ability to navigate complex and dynamic environments.
Work Environment
- This position is primarily spent in a remote professional office setting, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
- This position is required to work occasional nights and weekends to meet company demands.
- If in a remote setting, this position requires reliable internet access and virtual collaboration tools.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend a significant amount of time sitting at a desk, working on computers. Prolonged use of a computer and keyboard is expected. Walking and standing is also common for this role especially for collaborating with colleagues, training, and coordinating program events.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
The ability to travel, as needed.

The annual salary range for the Developer, Content Development position is $75,000-$85,000; commensurate with experience.
