Description
The Department of JSUTV at Jackson State University is accepting applications for its Senior Creative Producer position.
Examples of Duties
  • Jackson State Broadcast Network (JSBN) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Creative Producer to join our innovative team.
  • This multifaceted role requires a well-rounded creative producer who can aid in production on creative initiatives and produce compelling content across various platforms.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for working on production of shows created by content creators and JSBN production team, collaborating with the Production Manager on all JSBN projects.
  • Production: Aid the development and production execution of shows, ensuring high-quality content that aligns with JSBN's mission and values.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Production Manager to produce and promote new content, enhance station branding, and produce network promotions.
  • Production Support: Shoots and editing of newly created content, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality Standards.
  • Social Media Promotion: Aid in promoting all created and syndicated content across social media and other multimedia platforms, enhancing audience engagement and reach.
  • Creative Strategy: Contribute to the strategic planning of content and promotions, utilizing industry trends and audience insights to inform decisions.

Typical Qualifications
  • Bachelors' degree in Communications, Media Production, Broadcasting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in television and radio production, with a proven track record of creative 'cactus ai: p and content development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in production techniques, video editing software, and familiarity with Al technologies preferred.
