Job description

Summary:

The Development Manager is responsible for supporting fundraising and development operations through strategic communications, donor engagement support, marketing, and administrative coordination. This position manages the organization's digital presence, donor communications, marketing materials, and development-related administrative functions while supporting fundraising events and campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain House of Hope's social media platforms and digital communications strategy.
  • Manage website content, updates, and online engagement initiatives.
  • Design and distribute newsletters, email campaigns, and donor communications.
  • Administer and manage Constant Contact and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Create marketing materials, graphics, presentations, event collateral, and promotional content.
  • Print and mail monthly financial thank-you letters and donor acknowledgements.
  • Support donor stewardship efforts through correspondence and communications.
  • Assist with event promotion, registration, sponsorship materials, and communications for all fundraising and community events.
  • Coordinate photography, content collection, and storytelling efforts to support fundraising initiatives.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communications and marketing materials.
  • Assist with development database management, reporting, and record maintenance.
  • Support fundraising campaigns and special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field preferred. Experience with social media management, website administration, graphic design, email marketing, and donor communications preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Constant Contact, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms preferred.
