This role is responsible for providing HR leadership and strategic partnership to the Senior Leadership teams in the Western region (either Calgary or Vancouver) within the Business team. The successful incumbent will contribute to business success by fostering strong collaboration, serving as a trusted thought partner, applying deep HR knowledge and expertise, and leading the delivery of key people initiatives. This role will be located in Calgary or Vancouver.

What you'll be doing:
 Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute people strategies aligned with business objectives.
 Provide strategic advice on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, sales compensation and employee engagement.
 Lead and support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, transformations, and workforce related cost optimization strategies.
 Coach leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and team performance.
 Analyze people data and metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend actionable solutions.
 Partner with HR Centres of Excellence to deliver talent, compensation, DEIB, training programs.
 Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
 Build strong relationships across the business and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on all people matters.
 Support business transformation and cost optimization initiatives through effective workforce strategies and change management.
 Identify and mitigate people-related risks while fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

What you'll have:
5-8 years progressive HR business partner experience or related HR experience as a Generalist.
 Experience in partnering with a Sales team / sales compensation an asset.
Certified Human Resources Leadership is an asset.
 Undergraduate degree or diploma in related field.
 Curious and strategic mindset and demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a people plan and driving strategic initiatives.
 Ability to effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize.
 Ability to influence and drive alignment and results with/without direct authority.
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively influence and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across levels.
 Comfortable with navigating changes, working in ambiguity and in a fast-paced work environment.
