Due to the on-site requirements of this position, applicants are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the designated work location (Chelmsford, MA). This role does not offer relocation.
Job Summary
Finance professional responsible for managing monthly commission calculation and commission analysts. Work in conjunction with Sales to calculate and prepare North American Commissions for the ACT business. Take lead on commission process for sales force of 300+. Work closely with administrator of commissions program.
Essential Functions
  • Manage commission staff responsible for calculating monthly commissions, quarterly bonuses and yearly bonuses for the sales organization
  • Coordinate, prioritize and review group tasks
  • Maintain reviews and controls for commission process
  • Prepare commissions data monthly for approval and payment
  • Review bonuses quarterly with senior management
  • Communicate with sales representatives to answer any questions on their individual commission as required
  • Be the next level of response for any issues or questions
  • Perform investigations of commissions as required
  • Review plan system changes
  • Prepare commission related journals
  • Supply yearly and quarterly reporting to sales management and strategic managers
  • Participate in annual review of commission process and plans
  • Special projects or tasks as assigned

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent with demonstrated experience in commissions required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience required
  • Experience with commission program required
  • Team management experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Good understanding of MS Office with advanced excel skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic

The annual salary for this position is:
$115,000.00 to $135,000.00
This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
