The Opportunity

This position works out of our New Brighton location in the Structural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to support the strategic design, analysis, and administration of our variable pay programs. In this role, you will partner with Business Leaders, HRSC, and BHR to ensure our incentive plans are designed, documented, and executed accurately using ICM platform.

What You'll Work On

Strategic Design & Modeling

  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Finance to design, document, and communicate strategic commission and bonus plans that drive desired behaviors
  • Perform financial modeling and scenario calculations to assess the impact and effectiveness of total rewards and commission program changes
  • Analyze market trends and make recommendations to ensure overall market competitiveness related to incentive compensation philosophy & strategy
  • Proactively identify and raise awareness about concerns or risks and participate in resolving them

Commissions Administration & Calculation

  • Process transactions via ICM platform to ensure timely and accurate monthly/quarterly payout calculations
  • Gather appropriate approvals and documentation prior to submitting payouts to payroll
  • Audit skills to ensure the Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) software is 100% accurate and dependable when calculating and processing the various commission plans and meet all payroll and month end close deadlines
  • Verification of quota setting methodologies to ensure fair and accurate quota setting for the field sales organization with a focus on optimizing performance distribution
  • Assist with requests on attainment and any ad hoc requests
  • Prepare and present finalized compensation results, supporting schedules, and adjustment summaries to stakeholders for review and approval

Compliance & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Payroll to ensure compensation plans and payouts meet U.S. federal, state, and local regulatory standards
  • Ability to communicate complex compensation logic, exceptions, and payout outcomes clearly to Sales, Finance, and leadership stakeholders
  • Monitor compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local regulations, as well as SOX control requirements related to compensation and benefits. Conduct regular audits of programs and processes to ensure compliance and support internal and external audit requests.
  • Maintain detailed plan documentation and rules to ensure auditability and governance
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support team and organizational priorities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in sales compensation, incentive design, or sales finance
  • Hands-on experience designing, calculating, or administering variable compensation platforms
  • Advanced Excel capabilities to create complex spreadsheets, build models, and interpret data trends.
  • Strong ability to approach complex problems with data and insights, with the capacity to communicate complex commission rules to non-technical audiences
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately with high-volume data while maintaining strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical device industry experience
  • CCP and Master's degree
  • Experience in change management and influencing senior stakeholders
