We are currently looking for an entry-level Analyst to join our Corporate & Venture Group in Minneapolis, MN.

The Corporate & Venture Group (CVG) team seeks to provide high touch trading services to some of the top Corporations, Executives, and Venture Capital firms across the country. We work closely with Equity Sales and trading, as well as investment banking.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of customer service to Corporate & Venture Group clients and team members

  • Error-free set up of new client accounts, including follow through of receipt of all new account documentation.

  • Review trading activity including the correct reporting of trades, trade settlement, restrictive stock issues and commissions/fees paid

  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and proactively bring resolution to problems.

  • Process check and fed fund wire requests and communicate reorganization issues to affected Relationship Managers/clients

  • Interact with transfer agents, issuer counsel and clients to assist with administrative functions related to restricted stock sales - processing restricted stock paperwork and follow-up to ensure the shares are cleaned-up in a timely manner

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and other reports as required

  • Work with sophisticated investors

  • Provide assistance with Directed Share programs and Stock Options

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree preferred

  • 2-3 years of securities industry experience

  • Superior organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated ability to actively improve efficiencies anddepartment processes

  • Proven ability to interact with clients effectively and to maintain client relationships

  • Series 7 and 63 required or willingness to obtain within 90 days of start date

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location and other factors. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.
