Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Finance Intern will play a highly visible role supporting strategic finance initiatives with direct exposure to senior leadership. This position contributes to high-impact analyses influencing commercial decision-making, trade investment strategy, and profitability optimization.

Working closely with the Commercial Finance and Distribution Finance teams, as well as the CFO and COO, the intern will evaluate financial performance, challenge assumptions, and generate insights that improve outcomes.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

·        Commercial Finance & Trade Investment Strategy: support prioritization of Trade Promotion investments across key customers performing post-event Return on Investment (ROI) analysis and analyzing variances between actual results and assumptions.

·        Footprint Optimization & Profitability Analysis: analyze SKU profitability by customer, product, and geography to develop scenarios to optimize profitability across regions. Model trade-offs between revenue reduction and margin improvement identifying opportunities to expand distribution and improve profitability without reducing sales.

·        General Financial Support: support reporting and presentations of the above recommendations to the key stakeholders.

WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

·        Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field.

·        Basic understanding of financial concepts including ROI and profitability analysis.

SKILLS / OTHER PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Ability to work with large datasets.

·        Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

FORMAL EDUCATION:

·        Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field (in progress).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

·        Normal office environment.

·        Onsite 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9 am- 3 pm.
