Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Financial & Cost Analyst to join the Finelite Team in Union City, CA.
The Financial & Cost Analyst is a key member of the Finelite Finance team, supporting both FP&A and
cost accounting activities. This role partners cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and business
leaders to deliver accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and process improvements that drive
business performance.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Support monthly financial close and reporting processes
• Maintain and upload financial data in planning/reporting systems (e.g., BPC/Planful)
• Extract, validate, and analyze data from ERP and reporting tools
• Assist in the development of dashboards and KPIs to track business performance
• Support cost accounting activities, including preparation of journal entries, and analysis of manufacturing costs, inventory, and variances
• Assist with tracking and explaining cost drivers and operational trends
• Prepare journal entries and support account reconciliations (e.g. inventory capitalization, freight, cost adjustments, etc.)
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and identify inconsistencies or gaps
• Support audit requests and documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, streamline reporting, and enhance financial processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve business processes and drive business value
• Document and improve standard operating procedures
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
Qualifications
Experience & Education
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 0-3 years of experience in FP&A or cost accounting
• Manufacturing or operations finance experience preferred
Technical Skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
• Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and financial statements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy with ability to consistently meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills across finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Proactive mindset with curiosity and continuous improvement focus
