Paid Summer Intern โ€“ Operations & Process Improvement

Interstate Power Systems | Gillette, WY

Interstate Power Systems is hiring college-level paid interns to support our Gillette, Wyoming location this summer. This role offers hands-on experience in operations, process improvement, and business systems while working alongside experienced professionals in the power systems industry.

This is a paid, temporary summer internship.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Assist with day-to-day operations, service, parts, or administrative support
  • Help identify and improve internal workflows and processes
  • Support Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) for better efficiency and communication
  • Assist with organizing and streamlining Work-in-Progress (WIP)
  • Help create basic documentation, reports, or process updates
  • Support special projects as assigned

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a college or technical program
  • Interest in operations, business processes, analytics, IT, or efficiency improvement
  • Comfortable learning and using technology and systems
  • Reliable, organized, and eager to learn
  • Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
