Job description

Summary:
As a Comfort Advisor working within the HomeTown System, you will be responsible for addressing all customer inquiries throughout the sales process. He/she maintains expert knowledge of company products and services and drives maximum profitability through in-home sales. The CA creates and facilitates all sales tickets, sales functions, and coordinates with all necessary parties to ensure that sales proceed smoothly and efficiently and to the customer's satisfaction.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct warm in-home estimates to identify and determine HVAC system replacement solutions. No residential cold call visits.
  • Sales of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating units, package units, mini-splits, geo-thermal, RTUs, dehumidifiers, ductwork, and IAQ packages.
  • Sales of residential and commercial service agreements and membership packages.
  • Residential and light commercial appointment opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and installation schedules.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC estimates.
  • Coordinate equipment ordering and staging for installation.
  • Ongoing training and leadership development.
  • Responsible for company-provided vehicle, gas card, cell phone, and tablet

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC Comfort Advisor, or in an HVAC-related field.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
