Job description

Role: Hillcrest House Client Services Assistant 

Location: Dallas 

Hours: Overnight availability preferred

Salary: $12.81/ hr

ASD provides affordable housing and supportive services to individuals living with HIV/AIDS and other medically vulnerable populations. Our community-focused team works every day to help residents live healthier, more stable lives with dignity and respect. 

The Role 

The Client Services Assistant will play a key part in executing ASD’s mission: strengthening communities through affordable, service-enriched housing for individuals and families impacted by HIV/AIDS. This position serves as the first point of contact and experience with ASD mission through supporting residents and needs of Hillcrest house. 

Essential Responsibilities  

  • Answer all incoming calls and route calls to the appropriate destination.  
  • Record and deliver messages for employees who are unavailable.  
  • Maintain a current roster of employees and residents. 
  • Submit email work order requests from all departments and residents. 
  • Maintain the front desk/receptionist area in a clean and organized manner. 
  • Greet all visitors upon entry into the agency and direct them to staff and residents appropriately. 
  • Complete daily shift change form.  
  • Maintain a log of all delivered packages. 
  • Maintain log for Incident and Observation Reports. 
  • Maintain food and transportation records. 
  • The Property Manager and other departments as needed. 
  • Must adhere to all HIPAA rules and regulations.  
  • Must work physically on site and be able to lift 35lbs, bend, stoop, push, pull, climb stairs and sit for long periods of time.  
  • Participate in all agency-sponsored training and development, as directed.

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

  • High School graduate or equivalent  
  • Customer Service Experience preferred, not required 
  • Ability to maintain sensitivity to culturally, racially and sexually diverse clients, staff and volunteer populations. 
  • Office experience preferred, not required  

Work Schedule & Environment 

  • Full-time (40 hours per week) Part-Time (20-30 Hours per week), with 24-hour rotating schedule. 
  • Required to work on-site at Hillcrest House. 
  • Participation in agency safety programs, ongoing training, and compliance reviews are required.
