Job Summary
This position is the Client Ambassador serves as the first point of contact for clients entering the banking center. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing financial transactions, and promoting bank products and services. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and committed to supporting the financial needs of our clients and community.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer incoming calls, provide information, and route calls appropriately.
  • Perform teller functions including cashing checks, processing deposits and withdrawals, and verifying negotiability of financial instruments.
  • Open, maintain, and close various types of accounts using bank systems and documentation.
  • Promote bank products and services based on client needs and relationship history.
  • Handle safe deposit box transactions and night depository services.
  • Sort and process incoming mail and execute mail transactions.
  • Support branch sales goals through referrals and promotion of services such as ATM cards, direct deposit, and online banking.
  • Open and close the banking center as needed.
Job Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 6 months' cash handling/ customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to type and use a ten-key calculator.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong math aptitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when requested.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Candidates selected for further evaluation will be asked to provide authorization to perform a credit and background check.
