About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Principal AI Engineer to lead the architecture and deployment of large-scale, LLM-powered conversational Chatbot systems serving both enterprise and consumer use cases.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on building intelligent, autonomous chatbot systems operating in real-time crypto environments. You will define the technical vision and own end-to-end delivery of production-grade conversational AI platforms.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the design, development, and lifecycle management for conversational Chatbots products for enterprise and consumer use cases.
  • Drive experimentation, simulations, and continuous learning pipelines for Chatbot performance optimization.
  • Design multi-level intent routing, classifier training, and fallback strategies.
  • Building dialogue quality evaluation systems.
  • Drive automated bad-case discovery, A/B testing, and continuous iteration loops.
  • Ensure system scalability, security, and regulatory compliance of AI-powered solutions in the crypto exchange domain.

What We Look For In You
  • PhD or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field with at least 10 years of industry experience.
  • Deep understanding of the engineering complexity behind industrial dialogue systems, including orchestration layers, intent classification, policy control, and fallback strategies.
  • Proven experience deploying large-scale conversational products (To Business or To Consumer) in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience designing multi-tier intent routing and training classifiers for high-accuracy task allocation.
  • Experience building structured dialogue evaluation frameworks (automatic metrics, LLM-as-judge, human review systems, etc.).
  • Strong experience driving automated bad-case discovery, logging systems, experiment design, and A/B testing frameworks.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience in top-tier AI labs or Tech industry leaders
  • Experience in high-frequency trading, fintech, Web3, or crypto platforms is a strong advantage
  • Startups or research-intensive environments preferred; must be comfortable operating with ambiguity and speed
OKX Statement
The salary range for this position is $313,055.00 to $450,000.00. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
