Overview

SUMMER 2027

Shure offers a challenging, fun, and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

The Global MarTech Intern will assist with marketing technology operations, AI and automation initiatives, and project coordination activities within Global Marketing Operations. The intern will help maintain documentation, track key deliverables, support operational processes, and contribute to projects that improve efficiency, data quality, and product launch readiness.

This Internship is Hybrid in Niles, IL.

Responsibilities

Help deliver opportunities to improve marketing and business processes through AI, automation, and workflow optimization. Assist in building, testing, and documenting automated workflows using tools such as Power Automate, AI assistants, and other business platforms. Support Web AI Chatbot initiatives by testing responses, organizing content, and identifying opportunities to improve the user experience. Research emerging AI tools, automation technologies, chatbot capabilities, and marketing trends, and share recommendations with the team. Help develop and maintain AI agents, prompts, knowledge bases, and other resources that improve productivity and efficiency. Create presentations, project summaries, reports, and other materials to communicate agent performance, optimization opportunities, and recommendations. Create training materials, process documentation, and best-practice resources to support continuous improvement and user enablement.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field Interest in marketing technology, AI, automation, digital marketing, customer experience, or business process improvement Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Copilot Exposure to or interest in tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, AI assistants, chatbots, workflow automation platforms, or CRM/marketing platforms Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, presentation skills and collaborative mindset Comfortable being a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail Previous internship, class project, or hands-on experience with automation, AI tools, analytics, digital marketing, chatbot testing, or process documentation is a plus
