Travel Charge Capture Associate (Outpatient)

Location: Templeton, CA

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (option to extend)

Shift: Evening Shift - 5 x 8s, typically M - F but possible weekend as well.  4pm to 12:30am. Strong data entry skills. 2nd 8h

Compensation

$850 – $945/week (gross)

Job Description

Reviews, analyzes and coordinates charge master activities. Performs complex functions related to revenue cycle operations, including accurate entry of outpatient charges into billing systems. Works within established guidelines and procedures while receiving daily direction on assignments.
Collaborates with departments to code billable items and secure necessary documentation. Balances charge summaries, analyzes reports and software edits, and supports process improvements for charging, billing, and collections.
Adheres to organizational policies, standards, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

·        High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred

·        Healthcare charge entry or billing experience preferred

·        Strong data entry and analytical skills

·        Ability to work within revenue cycle systems and processes

·        Knowledge of billing workflows and compliance standards preferred
