Department: UCHlth EPIC Revenue Cycle IT
Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Pay: $37.04 - $68.07 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This is a full-time, Colorado-based, exempt/salary opportunity on UCHealth's Epic Charging Team. This is a work-from-home position, but you must reside in Colorado. You may be based in Colorado Springs, Aurora, Ft. Collins, or Pueblo. Travel among UCHealth sites may be required.
As an Epic Charge Master Analyst, you will:
  • Work on new hospital implementation projects and be responsible for mapping legacy charge data to Epic data
  • Require higher level Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with larger volume spreadsheets
  • Work with various departments in maintaining and reviewing portions of the Charge Master
  • Work with the Epic Charge Team to audit and update system build
  • Work with customers to determine operational and clinical needs which may be met through the use of IT services and solutions
  • Deliver excellent customer service to customers, peers and other team members

UCHealth is hiring for an Epic Charge Master Analyst. Candidates will be considered for one of the following levels:
Systems AnalystPerforms analysis of the daily use and administration of assigned IT system(s).
Assists with the planning, design, development, and installation of assigned systems. Tests and troubleshoots existing and proposed assigned system(s). Provides analysis of the usage and return-on-investment of installed and proposed assigned system(s). Generates reports as requested, including writing specifications for custom reports. Provides training, support and troubleshooting to end users. Documents end-user issues and recommends steps to prevent recurrences.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED. 2 years of relevant experience.
This position's pay range is: $37.04 - $55.57 / hour
Systems Analyst SrPerforms advanced analysis of the daily use and administration of assigned IT system(s).
Assists with the visioning, planning, design, development, and installation of assigned systems. Tests and troubleshoots existing and proposed assigned system(s). Provides advanced analysis of the usage and return-on-investment of installed and proposed assigned system(s). Generates reports as requested, including writing specifications for custom reports. Provides advanced training, support and troubleshooting to end users. Documents end-user issues and recommends, designs, and builds steps to prevent recurrences.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED. 4 years of relevant experience.
This position's pay range is: $45.38 - $68.07 / hour.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years working experience with CPT/HCPCS and regulations
  • AHIMA credentialed (RHIA or RHIT) or equivalent
  • Charge Master, coding, compliance or revenue recovery experience
  • Epic Certification(s) in Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, Charging, CDM, or Charge router
  • Experience with working on Epic implementation projects including the use of standard Epic CDM matrix and CGT mapping tools, use of embedded formulas, and working with technical implementation analysts
