THE OPPORTUNITY

For over 50 years, Thomson Power Systems (a Regal Rexnord brand) has been a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the Power Generation Industry. We are currently looking for a highly motivated ATS Business Development Manager who will be focused on rapidly expanding the sales of Automatic Transfer Switches across Texas, with a focus on the Greater Houston area.


YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will serve as a key member of the sales team responsible for driving profitable growth across the assigned territory. This is a highly visible, customer-facing outside sales role focused on acquiring new customers, expanding channel partnerships, and developing strong relationships with key accounts to grow market share and deliver sustainable revenue growth. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to territory development, business acquisition, and relationship management, while positioning Regal Rexnord as the preferred supplier within targeted markets.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute territory and channel sales strategies to drive market expansion, increase market share, and achieve business growth objectives.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, channel partners, and strategic customers within targeted markets.
  • Create and execute account plans for Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), identifying growth opportunities and securing new business to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Drive profitable growth in orders, revenue, and margin through effective territory management, business development activities, and strategic sales initiatives.
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within assigned territories and target markets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Quotations teams to support preparing competitive proposals and quotations.

ARE YOU THE ONE?
Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering or Mechanical engineering or related fields
  • 1 to 4 yearsof Outside / Inside Sales or Business Development or Quotations (Technical Customer Care) experience is a must
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.

Preferred Experience
Candidates with the following will be given priority.

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Ambitious, self-directed sales professional with a proven ability to drive results, close business, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Strong communicator who builds trusted relationships and delivers exceptional customer experiences across all levels of an organization.

Salary Range: The totalon-target earnings (OTE)for this position range from$105,000 to $130,000per year, which includes both base salary and performance-based incentives. The actual compensation package will depend on experience, qualifications, and achievement of performance goals.
