Seaman Corporation is seeking a Regional Channel Development Manager to join our Commercial team! This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Strategic Channel Development.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will provide technical sales support at the regional level to customers (architects and building owners) in an effort to achieve sales and profitability objectives. This position will be responsible for architectural sales and demand creation initiatives in the assigned region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • By way of consultative selling, generate revenue through the inclusion of FiberTite’s roofing components within building project design specifications.
  • Manage specification activity alongside building enclosure consultants, architects, engineers, and all other influencing parties.
  • Assist in writing specifications favorable to KEE and ASTM D6754 standards where possible, reviewing and understanding project details and blueprints.
  • Call on architects, engineers, and members of the design community in the private and public sectors throughout the assigned territory.
  • Identify and follow up on new market opportunities, including Dodge lead, and similar programs.
  • Promote and reinforce FiberTite’s differentiated value proposition of quality performance.
  • Communicate regularly with FiberTite sales managers and representatives as to project timing and appropriate roofing contractor involvement.
  • Document leads, customer profiles and opportunities through Seaman 360.
  • Facilitate in-person, lunch & learn seminars, or on-line virtual presentations, AIA and otherwise.
  • Follow FiberTite’s environmental and safety policies.
  • Drive/support other projects as they arise, including pre-bid job walks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • This position requires an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably selling to the architectural community.
  • Has earned CDT or CCPR certifications through CSI or is willing to earn their certification within the next year (paid by company).
  • Has an understanding of construction drawings and specification requirements
  • Is comfortable delivering presentations to large and small groups
  • Great organization and communication skills
  • Is proficient in Salesforce, WORD, EXCEL, ADOBE, and PPT
  • Understanding of building materials and the building envelopes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong experience working with architects and project design teams generating specifications
  • Is actively involved in CSI, IIBEC, AIA organizations
  • Can prepare a specification or substitution for submittal
  • Has an understanding of low slope roofing

The salary range for this position is $99,000–$148,000. This salary range is provided in good faith and reflects the range the Company reasonably expects to pay for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, education, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and benefits.
