Absolute is looking for a strong leader to join our Channel team and drive the relationship with HPI. The Director, Channel and Business Development (HPI) role is responsible for managing the global HPI business - including business development with the HPI product teams and global go-to-market channel functions.
What You'll Do
  • Global HPI sales targets/P&L of the Absolute Secure Endpoint and Secure Access product lines
  • Prioritization of MDF budget expenditures to enable sales growth
  • Management and prioritization of go-to-market activities and events designed to accelerate sales growth
  • Relationship building with senior leaders at HPI across all vertical sales segments
  • Facilitate Absolute sales alignment and relationship-building with their global peers at HPI
  • Work in partnership with Absolute sellers to build HP pipeline with existing and new logo customers
  • Global business reporting and metrics
  • Business case development for new product launches and integration efforts within the HPI security portfolio
  • HPI engineering engagement related to firmware integration
  • Protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customers.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

What You'll Bring
  • Excellent leadership and people management experience and skills
  • Proven experience (8 years) in a Channel Management capacity
  • Expected experience in Cyber Security (End point a preference) /or PC business
  • Experience selling enterprise level solutions in the security and compliance markets
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed quarterly quota
  • Superior interpersonal, presentation and communication (written, oral) skills
  • Self-starter and thought leader combining reliability with a good degree of creativity
  • Proven history of being able to work independently and with cross-functional teams to achieve company and departmental objectives
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow-through are essential
  • Strong business acumen and capable of developing and managing strategic plans with partner and company executives
  • Previous experience working with Computer OEMs a definite advantage
  • Strategic planning and analytic capabilities Thorough understanding of financial/business statements
  • Ability to anticipate / interpret trend changes and advise business leaders accordingly
